Music can't always fit into a genre, and Monica Palmer's album We Are All Escaping is a first-hand example of this; music transcending categorization. Monica’s music is at times ambient and calming, but turn the corner in her musical soundscapes and you'll suddenly be hit with EDM beats infused with improvised flute. Creativity and curiosity are at the forefront of her sound design, as she takes you through forests of experimental synth sounds, with breathy vocals wisping above.

 

Monica began recording the tracks for We Are Ell Escaping in the Fall of 2022 and finished the process in the summer of 2023. The album was mixed and mastered by Kyler Daron. at Den Studios Recording in Boise, Idaho.
